Hey Guys! 
Sorry I've been MIA for a while I've been super busy with school and working on getting my personal training course ☺️ 
 Today I want to talk about protein . Most people specifically girls/women are not eating enough protein in their day. I'd recommend trying to eat your body weight in grams per day as a good scale , It may sound hard but I promise you will adjust . 
One of my favourite ways to get protein in is a chocolate protein shake ! 
 I'm going to share my favourite recipe with you 😊 

⭐️ Victoria's Chocolate Protein Shake⭐️
- One scoop progressive peppermint bark
- 1 Tablespoon almond butter 
- 1 Banana
- 2 cups almond milk 
- Handful of spinach 
  BLEND & ENJOY 🌪

I am always looking for extra ways to get my veggies in , that's why I add spinach to all of my smoothies . I find you can't taste it and it adds so many beneficial vitamins into your body !

♡ FAKE TANNERS ♡

My blog is all about healthy living & that includes the health and wellness of our beauty routines !

Why spend hundreds of dollars on a spray tan membership that leaves you orange anid streaky? Or worse a tanning bed that can later affect your health?

  I am obsessed with Bondi Sands tanning foam ( $24 ) . The foam alone leaves a flawless Australian glow - which I know we all try to achieve when getting a fake tan , am I right ?  They offer a tanning mit ( $6 ) - Its a must as its key in creating a streak free tan , as well to keep yours or whoever is helping you apply it . ( wouldn't want you to end up like my poor boyfriend who had to walk around with golden brown hands for a few days lol )
   To keep up with my tan I use their Tanning Milk ( $22 )  daily.

 I've been using this product from Bondi Sands for about a year now and I can honestly say its the best tanning product I have ever used . I've been to the tanning beds I've gone spray tanning , the whole nine ! I've used almost every self tanning lotion , spray, foam I've come across and find I'm either orange, streaky or they smell funny...  I highly recommend using this amazing product .

Let's get hydrated !

       

 Do you drink enough water in a day?
I know that unless I have a full thing of water on me at all times I forget to stay hydrated.
What a lot of people don't know is that they probably mistake most hunger signals for actually just being thirsty, so before reaching for the snacks try drinking a glass of water and waiting ten minutes.  Now I'm not sponsored or promoting anyone because I've been asked I am simply just sharing what I use and what I find works best for me .            My Everyday Fat Burning Walk 



    Hey guys I want to start off by saying thank you so much for all of your support

   Anyways today I'm going to talk a little about my journey and what struggles I've had and pretty much the whole reason I'm doing this !  For the last few years especially through high school I suffered from anxiety depression and PTSD and for those of you who don't know what that last one is its post traumatic stress disorder , these mental illnesses constantly got in the way of what I wanted .
 They kept me in bed , kept me away from socializing with my friends and kept me away from the healthy lifestyle I craved so much . To add to it about a year ago I got into a car accident and still have a concussion was told I couldn't workout either . A few months ago I decided enough was enough; no more sleeping until noon no more excuses for not going to the gym or why I wasn't eating healthy. 
  I made the best choice of my life . I got up and I decided I was finally going to go for a "fat burning walk" that i had been telling myself wouldn't make a big difference and that I didn't have time for . Well I made time I woke up earlier and at first it was hard it was -15 c and I froze my butt off but I took my dogs to the forest and went for an hour long walk, now I don't eat anything before I go hence why it's fat burning, but I now enjoy this part of my day more then anything ! I get time to clear my head and start my day on a positive stress free note . Depression is a silent killer , and you are in control.
   One day you need to decide you are not going to let it change your life . Make a plan stick to it and prove it wrong . Do I have days that I want to do nothing ? Of course but I find those days when I don't want to get up are the days I am so proud of myself for going. Mental illness is a real thing that too many people suffer from and on my journey I'm working with neurologists, naturopaths and doctors to find a way to eliminate some of the symptoms without medication using exercise, meditation and diet. I want you all to learn how to truly love yourselves and learn to trust the process and love what you do !

♡ Fit From Home ♡

We all know that at home fitness gets a LOT of flack for being sketchy. People say you just can’t get results from working out in a small space that isn’t specialized for fitness, but honestly, you can. I love being active, but with my job being a nanny some days I can't make it to the gym. That's when I really started to realize why so many moms have such a hard time getting back into their fitness journey. They simply do not have time .  I started looking for programs I could do from anyone's house. I fell in love with alllll of the Beachbody programs. They’re so amazing. So convenient. So easy. Pack a resistance band and you're golden!


We actually have an upcoming fitness challenge group for ladies wanting to feel stronger come 2016! Obviously with the new year is here and so it's natural to get thinking about getting on track. We focus on quick daily workouts, simplified clean eating, and constant love and support from other ladies with similar goals!


The "challenge group" is a private Facebook group for a select group of ladies doing the exact same fitness program! We encourage one another, celebrate our successes, and vent if needed lol (which happens a LOT because honestly, cravings and soreness are a regular occurrence and that’s a good thing!)! We share recipes, motivational quotes, and cheer each other on! And my mom owns a crossfit , I go to the gym regularly, I am loyal to a specific yoga instructor at my gym but I STILL prefer to have these workouts on hand ! If you are someone who likes going to the gym like myself if I have time I will go to the gym and take my program and do it there simply because I love the environment . But that being said now if I'm going away or have a super busy day I don't have to sweat missing the gym.  I’ve actually made so many new friends thanks to this, which I know sounds cheesy but it’s the best. All of the cheering on is something that’s often missing from a usual gym routine, that lack of support!

It all starts with a 21 day workout program/challenge (but you can obviously do it longer) It’s made up of 30 minute workouts that are different each day of the week - ranging from yoga, weighted cardio, upper body weights, lower body weights, pilates, you name it! We keep it interesting! This group is designed specifically for people with hectic lives. You don't need to work out for 2 hours a day to get results.
